Schools Supported
Supported over 35 schools through the design of all-inclusive physical activity programming
Steps Taken
Over 30 million steps taken by communities with low physical activity engagement
Youth Impacted
Youth impacted through the design of all-inclusive physical activity programming through Field Days and community-centered events like Bike Fest


Technical Assistance
Provided 300+ hours of technical assistance and coaching to schools in under-resourced communities to assist them in designing policies and a wellness culture that will provide access to physical activity
Community Participation
Community members participating in low impact nontraditional physical activity and movement-based programming
Town Hall Meetings
Hosted Town Hall Meetings to advocate for safer walkable open spaces in under resourced communities
Partnerships
Increased volunteerism and partnerships for schools, community-based and faith-based organizations to help sustain physical activity programming

Built Environment
Improved the built environment and increased outdoor learning initiatives in schools in communities with low physical activity engagement
Teacher Support
1:1 technical assistance with PE Teachers, instructional leaders and Assistant Principals and Principals
Safety Collaboration
Collaborated with city agencies like Police Departments and their Community Affairs to assess the walkability, safety and health of communities with low physical activity engagement

Teacher Wellness
Designed Teacher Wellness Space to help increase access to physical activity for teachers in a shared school space so that can have space to relax and recharge

Cycling Access
Provided students with access to cycling through Physical Education, community clinics and partnership with USA Cycling, Major Taylor Iron Riders and Major Taylor Development Team
Wellness Policies
Engage schools and communities in the design, implementation and evaluation of wellness policies that speak to the culture and community
Recess Programming
Assisted schools in creating student-centered Recess Programming
Community Training
Trained and engaged teachers, school aides, community leaders and community members in the design and implementation of physical activity programming that addresses the health and wellness needs of their community; this included walking programs, competitive adult and student leagues, clinics and teambuilding
